Hi, thank you for stepping into this little slice of my existence and expression. My name is Lucia, and I’m the creator of luyla.

 

I was raised in Patagonia, in the south of Argentina—an untamed land that gifted me a profound reverence for the natural world. That sense of awe and connection now continues to evolve along the stunning coastline of Australia, where I live and create.

 

Creativity has always been a constant thread in my life. From a young age, I found joy and grounding in handmade practices—knitting, embroidery, painting, photography, and most recently, ceramics. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, earned in what feels like another lifetime. For me, art has never been separate from life; it’s a language of transformation, a tool for understanding the self, and a vessel for navigating the emotional terrain of being human.

 

luyla is born from this space. It is a statement of beauty, of slow living, of craft and individuality. In a world that moves quickly, where mass production and fast consumption are the norm, luyla stands as a quiet revolution—an invitation back to the sacredness of time, process, and presence. Each piece is made with intention, by hand, one of a kind—just like each of us.
